The Wow! Signal, an alien transmission

does alien exist

On August 15th, 1977, astronomer Jerry Ehman working on the SETI project in Ohio, detected for the first and last time (at least officially) a 72 second signal coming from outer space. That was a monumental time in history and the event got the attention of everyone.
SETI (Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence) was established by the late 1970 at the Ames Research Center of NASA and the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. The goal was to examine stars trying to detect intelligent signals from space. However it was 2 decades later that NASA stopped being involved in the project.
However, on August 15th 1977, the magical moment happened. The ‘Big Ear’ radio telescope of the Ohio State University Radio Observatory spotted an intelligent signal coming from the direction of the constellation of Sagittarius and its duration was seventy two seconds at the frequency of 1420.4056 MHz. The signal was named the ‘Wow! Signal’ because of the note that Jerry Ehman took when he noticed the numbers identifying the signal on the computer printout.

The signal appeared in a very narrow band of frequencies (less than 10kHz) and the analysis performed on the signal proved that it originated outside our solar system. The signal at its strongest point was more than 30 times stronger than background noise. The signal strength remained constant within an observing window of 10 seconds. Unfortunately the signal was observed only once and never since then, even if later on the focus of SETI for many months was the constellation of Sagittarius.
What is interesting is that the frequency of 1420.4056 MHz, is the frequency of the neutral hydrogen line and as Ehman suggested, it would make sense for an alien civilization to try to communicate at that frequency, since hydrogen is abundant in the universe.
Could all those events be random, man made or just reflections from objects in space as a few sceptics suggested? The answer is ‘No’ with a 99% probability. Unfortunately due to the lack of a repeated signal or another similar signal since then we cannot identify the purpose of the signal or the exact location of it. If something like this would happen today we would have much more information and much more data to identify not only the source but possibly even a message hidden in the signal.

Gary McKinnon - Nasa Hacker

What did Gary McKinnon found?

Scottish computer hacker Gary McKinnon is accused of gaining access to nearly a hundred US military and NASA computers and computer systems between 2001 and 2002. With a ten-year legal fight against extradition, protest songs and numerous think pieces published on the subject, it’s easy to forget perhaps the most important part of his story: what he was trying to find.

McKinnon has repeatedly claimed to have been looking for evidence of UFOs and “free energy”, a mythical, inexhaustible source of power, on the military computers. According to McKinnon, he did in fact locate that evidence.

The search for proof of the existence of UFOs landed Gary McKinnon in a world of trouble.
After allegedly hacking into NASA websites -- where he says he found images of what looked like extraterrestrial spaceships -- the 40-year-old Briton faces extradition to the United States from his North London home. If convicted, McKinnon could receive a 70-year prison term and up to $2 million in fines.
Final paperwork in the case is due this week, after which the British home secretary will rule on the extradition request.
McKinnon, whose extensive search through U.S. computer networks was allegedly conducted between February 2001 and March 2002, picked a particularly poor time to expose U.S. national security failings in light of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
McKinnon tells what he found and discusses the motivation behind his online adventures in this exclusive phone interview with Wired News.
Wired News: What was your motive or inspiration for carrying out your computer hacking? Was it the War Games movie?
Gary McKinnon: This is a bit of a red herring. I have seen it but I wasn't inspired by it. My main inspiration was The Hacker's Handbook by Hugo Cornwall. The first edition that I read was too full of information.... It had to be banned, and it was reissued without the sensitive stuff in it.
WN: Without this book would you have been able to do it?
McKinnon: I would have done it anyway because I used the internet to get useful information. The book just kick-started me. Hacking for me was just a means to an end.
WN: In what way?
McKinnon: I knew that governments suppressed antigravity, UFO-related technologies, free energy or what they call zero-point energy. This should not be kept hidden from the public when pensioners can't pay their fuel bills.
WN: Did you find anything in your search for evidence of UFOs?
McKinnon: Certainly did. There is The Disclosure Project. This is a book with 400 testimonials from everyone from air traffic controllers to those responsible for launching nuclear missiles. Very credible witnesses. They talk about reverse-(engineered) technology taken from captured or destroyed alien craft.
WN: Like the Roswell incident of 1947?
McKinnon: I assume that was the first and assume there have been others. These relied-upon people have given solid evidence.
WN: What sort of evidence?
McKinnon: A NASA photographic expert said that there was a Building 8 at Johnson Space Center where they regularly airbrushed out images of UFOs from the high-resolution satellite imaging. I logged on to NASA and was able to access this department. They had huge, high-resolution images stored in their picture files. They had filtered and unfiltered, or processed and unprocessed, files.
My dialup 56K connection was very slow trying to download one of these picture files. As this was happening, I had remote control of their desktop, and by adjusting it to 4-bit color and low screen resolution, I was able to briefly see one of these pictures. It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object with geodesic spheres on either side. There were no visible seams or riveting. There was no reference to the size of the object and the picture was taken presumably by a satellite looking down on it. The object didn't look manmade or anything like what we have created. Because I was using a Java application, I could only get a screenshot of the picture -- it did not go into my temporary internet files. At my crowning moment, someone at NASA discovered what I was doing and I was disconnected.
I also got access to Excel spreadsheets. One was titled "Non-Terrestrial Officers." It contained names and ranks of U.S. Air Force personnel who are not registered anywhere else. It also contained information about ship-to-ship transfers, but I've never seen the names of these ships noted anywhere else.
WN: Could this have been some sort of military strategy game or outline of hypothetical situations?
McKinnon: The military want to have military dominance of space. What I found could be a game -- it's hard to know for certain.
The search for truth on the UFO matter is a difficult one, and some may argue that the secrets being kept are illegal. However, taking illegal steps to get to the truth is ill-advised, and unfortunately McKinnon is learning this the hard way.

Official U.S. Navy Photos of Arctic UFO Encounter LEAKED

Official U.S. Navy Photos of Arctic UFO Encounter LEAKED

ufo encounter leaked

A set of newly-released photos detail the U.S. Navy’s close encounter with an enormous UFO/USO.
The case was submitted to The Black Vault by researcher/investigator Alex Mistretta, who in turn got them from one of his anonymous sources in Europe. An interesting story is attached to these photos.

In March 1971, the USS Trepang, a Sturgeon Class attack submarine, was on a routine military and scientific mission at the edge of the Arctic Ocean.

The exact location of the sighting is unknown, but the submarine’s position was somewhere between Iceland and the Jan Mayen island in the Atlantic.

The unidentified object was first spotted through the periscope by an officer named John Kilika and the photos were taken by an unnamed officer. The quality of the photos is pretty good, which is uncommon in the field of ufology.

THE BALTIC SEA ANOMALY - 14,000 YEAR OLD UFO?

 THE BALTIC SEA ANOMALY

the Baltic Sea Anomaly a 14,000 year old alien spacecraft that crash landed?
In what seems to come straight out of a star-wars film, something like a crashed millennium falcon has been spotted at the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

The image first appeared on the sonar of Ocean X, a private treasure hunting company, a couple of years ago.You can see its strange and artificially circular shape. It looks something like a UFO.
Also note the streak marks behind it. Look at the way they are shaped….it looks like whatever this thing was crashed and skidded along the ground before coming to a stop
The team that discovered this object noted that when their boat was directly above it some of their electrical equipment stopped working. When they sailed away , the equipment started working again.
The dive team that explored the sunken object also explained how the object appeared to have steps leading into an egg shaped entrance.Parts of either the object or rock that had formed around it were dated to be around 14,000 years old.

Still, some experts say this could completely be a natural geologic rock formation.
But, to me at least, the way it stands out on a sonar scan, the steps and entrance the divers note, and the apparent skid marks that trail the object…a natural geologic rock formation seems like an unlikely culprit.
Just what is this object laying at the bottom of the Baltic sea? Could it be an alien spacecraft that crashed long ago?
